Description

Originally from Madagascar, the Lemurs are small, very social primates that can weigh up to 20 pounds. Their name derives from lemurs that in Roman mythology were ghosts or spirits, because of their vocalizations, but also their eyes that reflect the light and their nocturnal habits. The lemur consumes mainly fruits and leaves, however this diet can vary from one species to another.
