FIFTY FEST was AMAZING!!!!
On Saturday, July 30th, Gingerbread House Toys celebrated 50 Years with an Anniversary Party called FIFTY FEST! Our parking lot was full of FUN! And it was all free! It was our way of saying THANK YOU for 50 years of support! Soooo many people came out and enjoyed the fun! Here's a map of what was at the party!!

And at other times throughout the day, costumed characters like Pirates, Mermaids, and Superheroes were in the Dunk Tank! It was dunking fun for the kids all day long!

Treasure Tokens for Free Toys!
For the last 2 months, kids have been collecting Treasure Tokens at our local Treasure Stops, and hundreds of kids redeemed them for FREE TOYS at Fifty Fest! Token bags were full of alllll their tokens! We had to restock the Prize Booth!

Toys had different colored stickers on them, and certain numbers of tokens unlocked different levels!
Last Minute Tokens!
If you weren't able to collect Treasure Tokens in advance (or didn't get as many as you'd like!), there were also plenty of last-minute ways to get MORE tokens during Fifty Fest! Including at the Dunk Tank and the High Striker!

Every Saturday in July, we also built the hype for Fifty Fest by hosting special Token Bonus Days! Here was the lineup!
- Saturday, July 2: Chicago Wax Hands from 10am - 3pm and Communication Junction at 11am
- Saturday, July 9: Barnyard Discoveries from 10:30am - 2pm, with a special reading of Narwin the Narwhal by Christy and Chris Books, and activites from Developing Melodies at 11am
- Saturday, July 16: Kickoff of the 50th Anniversary Sale! Everything outside under the Tent was 50% off!
- Saturday, July 23: Free T-Shirt Day! We gave out dozens of free 50th Anniversary T-Shirts (in both kids and adult sizes)!
Parking & Info
The Fifty Fest Fun Zone was directly in front of our store, and the perimeter was marked-off by orange snow fence. Tons of you parked in the regular parking spots found in the remainder of the large Foundry lot, and in overflow parking to the south, near AB Hatchery. All the surrounding streets were full too!
And the weather was perfect!!
