Books for Kids! Now thru April 30!

Help Stock Local Hospitals!

 

Together we can help little warriors on their road to recovery through the power of storytelling! 

 

Two years ago we were inspired by Jim and Rebecca, whose personal experience at the NICU in Peoria, led them to donate books for babies, so families could read to their littlest warriors as they grew and gained strength.  

 

“When our granddaughter was born at St Francis in Peoria, she was transferred to the NICU immediately. She was there 15 days. The nurses encouraged us to read to her, but there was only one book for the 60 room NICU at that time. We read that book to our granddaughter yet felt sad that we had the only book available. So, we want to supply books to the NICU in the hope that there will be at least one book per NICU room.” ~Rebecca & Jim Christian

 

In 2021, you helped us donate dozens of books to the NICU in Peoria, and in 2022, you helped us keep the program going by donating dozens more to Ivy Rehab for Kids in Bloomington! This year, we’re expanding the gifts to several local hospitals, and we can only be successful with your help!

 

Now through April 30th, stop by the store and purchase a new book at checkout that will be donated to local hospitals.

 

Our staff picked out just the right books for families to read to their little warriors.  

 

The process is easy: 

• When you go to check out, select a book. 
• We’ll add the price of the book to your total. 
• Then we’ll donate the book on your behalf. 
• Sorry but the program isn’t accepting used books at this time.
