Bloomington, Ill., June 28, 2016 – They say wherever you hang your hat is home. This week, the Gingerbread House has announced it will hang its hat in a new location beginning in early Spring 2017.
The new location will be as a part of a development called The Foundry, along with Green Top Grocery and Bloomington Cycle & Fitness, located at 915 E Washington Street, in Bloomington.
Continuing its tradition as the toy store children run to in Bloomington-Normal, Gingerbread House plans to increase its investment in the community with the move. “The physical distance of our new location may be only a few blocks away, but we believe the benefits will be tremendous,” says Kate Greene, Gingerbread House owner. “We are so excited to work in close proximity to other locally owned businesses like Green Top Grocery and Bloomington Cycle & Fitness.”
“It will be bittersweet to say goodbye to our current location, which is the place the Gingerbread House began and where we started our toy store ownership,” Greene added. “But, our priority is to provide a fun shopping destination for unique, quality and educational toys, and our new home will allow us even more opportunity to do just that.”
Construction on the new store is set to begin in the next few weeks, following The Foundry ground breaking festivities held today, June 28.
The store’s new address will be:
915 E Washington Street, Suite 3
Bloomington, IL 61701
All phone numbers, emails, and social media pages will remain the same.
